From MA to Professor
With over a decade of experience as a medical assistant and educator, my journey has been anything but ordinary! I kicked off my career with a Medical Assisting diploma at the age of 19. I gained experience working in oncology, primary care, pediatrics, clinical laboratory, and as a float. I also hold a Bachelor's in Biological Health Sciences, and I am now excited to deepen my expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Applied Anatomy.
The COVID-19 pandemic sparked a newfound interest in education for me, prompting a shift in my career from patient-facing roles to the classroom.
As an instructor, my mission is clear: I want to make learning not just relevant but truly engaging. My mantra is all about “making it make sense." I’m committed to aligning the curriculum with the latest certification standards and career needs, so my students not only grasp the material but also find genuine joy in the learning process. I take pride in breaking down complex topics into accessible and enjoyable experiences. Together, we embark on a journey of discovery that inspires and motivates!
